Church of England Diocese of Southwark Peckham, St. Saviour

Copleston Church (St Saviour Peckham)

The Copleston Church is as unique as the area it serves. The church is as large as the area it serves, and the worshipping community comes from Champion Hill, Peckham, Nunhead, and further afield, who are drawn to its warm, friendly and generous atmosphere.

Morning at 8 am and Evening Prayer at 6 pm, in the church (via right side alley), or live-streamed via

Sunday Services 10 am via

Sunday meditation & Prayer hour 5-6 pm, in the church building

Sunday Eucharist, 6-7 pm, in the church building

Every Wednesday we are OPEN for silent private prayer and meditation, with social distanced chairs and space. Masks and sanitiser are on offer.

All are welcome, and we are multi-cultural, fully inclusive, and children are especially welcome.

We believe in inclusive Church - church which does not discriminate, on any level, on grounds of economic power, gender, mental health, physical ability, race or sexuality. We believe in Church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ.
