THE TEN O'CLOCK in-person and online Sunday Service

Occuring
Every Sunday at for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
Maidenhead: St Peter's Church
Address
St Peter's Church St. Peter's Road Furze Platt Maidenhead, SL6 7QU, United Kingdom

Our Sunday morning service is a relaxed and welcoming service, where we want everyone to feel at home and that they belong. Each week there is worship, a talk, and space to pray, and once a month we share communion together. After a time of gathering and sung worship all together, our children and young people head out to Children’s Church to spend time in their age-specific groups. From time to time we enjoy ‘All-Age Services’ where we have no Children’s Church groups and instead remain together for a fun, family service.

Refreshments are available from 09.45 before the service, and after the service, providing an opportunity to chat and catch-up over a cup of tea or coffee.

The seating at St Peter's remains more relaxed than pre-covid, and an area where greater social distancing is possible is available. Recent changes in government guidance mean that the wearing of face masks is now optional. If you want to wear a face mask, we want you to feel completely comfortable in doing so - but it is no longer a requirement. We want to make Sundays as comfortable as possible for everyone.

This service is normally 'live streamed' as well, so whether you prefer to gather in the church building for worship or join us from the comfort of your own home, we are one church, worshipping together!

You can join us online either via our Youtube channel, or via our website, through 'More about this event' below.

If you wish to attend please contact the church office to book a place. Transport can also be arranged, so do let us know if that is something you require.

We ask for a suggested contribution of £6 per person to cover the cost of the food, however we don’t want finances to be a barrier to anyone joining so please feel free to come along regardless.

Our fortnightly daytime service is a short contemplative service, lasting about 30 minutes, and alternates between Holy Communion and Morning Prayer.

We want to make this service as comfortable as possible for everyone.

Those present are welcome to stay on for our Community Lunch served after the service, though please do pre-register a place at this meal through the Church office, so we know how many to cater for.
