About Us

Christ the King Community Church is part of the Walton Churches Ecumenical Partnership between the Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, United Reform and Roman Catholic churches. The Church of Christ the King is shared between the ecumenical Community Church Congregation and a Roman Catholic Church congregation.

The Community Church meets at 9.30am on Sundays.

The Community Church has flourishing children's and youth churches. The Church also has close links with our local Community Council and with several local schools.

The Church building was purpose built in 1992 and has all the facilities you would expect from a modern building. A community centre is attached to the church and used by the congregations at various times during the week as well as by a number of local community groups.

The church layout is 'in the round' and an additional room called the 'Narthex' is fully glazed on the church side, allowing full view of all proceedings and particularly the baptistery pool area. There are also a number of meeting or 'break-out' rooms.

We welcome all our visitors whether you know your way around a church, or have never set foot in one before. We want you to find God here in all his wonders and glory.

See our website or facebook page for further details and events (including Christmas and Easter services and activities), or drop us message via our website, especially if you are new to the area.

We welcome you to our church fellowship, and look forward to meeting you.
