On Saturday 25th November, Christ the King hosted Sara and Sam Hargreaves from Engage Worship who led an exciting one day workshop on the theme of ‘The rest is worship’. This was about Jesus' invitation to rest in him. The morning session included sung worship, reflection, teaching and discussion around the themes of The Rest Is Worship. After lunch, there were the options of a retreat- style exploration on Christian rest and reflect and the other explored practically what it looks like to lead gathered worship on God’s invitation to rest.
