Church of England Diocese of Oxford Newton Longville

Newton Longville: St Faith

As a result of the current Corona Virus situation our Parish Church will not be holding any Sunday or Midweek services for the foreseeable future. In addition the church building will now be closed. This is in accordance with instructions from the Government .

We are very sorry about this – we will miss our regular worship and fellowship together. We will continue to pray for everyone in our village community. And we give thanks for all those working so hard at this difficult time.

If you have a particular prayer request please telephone one of the following:

Church Warden:

Stephen Creasey: 01908 648800

Anne Robinson: 01908 631109

Meanwhile, please keep an eye out for your neighbours and offer help if you think they need it.

The parish of Newton Longville is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Our safeguarding officer is Benedicte Titley, email: [email protected]
