St Leonards

St. Leonards is a small and friendly church high in the Chiltern Hills, near Wendover Woods. The highlight of each month is our Breakfast service, on the fourth Sunday starting at 9 am with coffee and croissants in the Church Room, followed by a half-hour service in Church. Come and see!

We welcome you to our Christmas 2022 events and services:

- Saturday 17 December 3.30 pm for Community Carols

- Saturday 24 December 11.30 pm Christmas Eve 'Midnight Mass' (Communion)

- Sunday 25 December 10.30 am Family Communion

The Church of England has a great new videocast on YouTube (just 3 minutes long) which is well worth watching: https://youtu.be/uglkRXWOZak .

Also, try visiting our Christmas online carol service (51 mins) prepared in 2020 during the pandemic by/for the Hilltops and The Lee.

Meanwhile the church is open for private prayer.

Please use either 'A Church Near You' to find an online service, or visit the Oxford Diocese, or the Church of England website for more details. Our own short reading of Night Prayer, accompanied by Taize music, can be found here.  You may also find the 'Psalm of Isolation' and 'You Say' helpful.

Another resource which may be of interest is a short video with personal reflections on 'Love in Creation', recorded by Gavin Oldham.

God bless you, and we hope to see you at our monthly breakfast service.
