The church of St Giles, Wigginton dates back to the 13th century and is built from local ironstone.

Regular services are an 8am Holy Communion on the 2nd Sunday of each month and a 6pm Evensong on the 3rd Sunday, both using the Book of Common Prayer.  During the winter months Evensong will be held at 4pm. We also hold a Family Service at 10am on the 4th Sunday of the month. In addition we run regular coffee mornings on the last Friday of each month at 10:30 am. Please see the Calendar for additional services.

The mission of St Giles is to provide a Christian haven at the centre of the community, working with our sister churches, to be responsive to the spiritual needs and preferences of all those seeking spirituality, reassurance and companionship.

We take Safeguarding very seriously. If you have any concerns, for the safety of yourself or for another, please contact the Safeguarding Officer, Jenny Mead, on 07951 092 227 or by emailing [email protected], or alternatively contact Revd Janet Faull (Rector) on 01608 737223 or [email protected].
