We meet at 9.45am for a Palm Sunday procession at 9.45am from Wolvercote Young People's Club (St Peter's Road) to the church, for a Parish Eucharist at 10am.

A beautiful and evocative act of worship, Tenebrae simply means 'darkness' or 'shadows'. The liturgy is a simple ritual of extinguishing candles as we hear readings, poetry and music that help us to identify with Jesus' sufferings as we enter into the darkness of his final hours and death.
Followed by our 12 o'clock Eucharist
We remember the Last Supper that Jesus shared with his disciples before his arrest and trial, and his commandment to them that they love one another. We then observe a vigil in our ‘Garden of the Watch.’
12 noon Good Friday Meditations – Silence, hymns and reflections on ‘The Weight of the Cross’
2 pm The Liturgy of the Passion – We recall Jesus’ crucifixion and death.
As we gather outside in darkness, the Easter Fire is lit and we proclaim Christ’s resurrection. Followed by Bucks Fizz and Simnel Cake.
A joyful celebration of Easter suitable for everyone -- followed by a children’s Easter Egg Hunt.
