About Us

We are a diverse congregation seeking to serve Christ in our community.

Our church is a Victorian landmark with a sumptuous interior, and is situated in the heart of Birmingham's main hotel district. We offer Biblical teaching with full catholic faith and practice.

All services use the Book of Common Prayer with some minor modifications, which is the official and default rite of the Church of England. Ceremonial is in accordance with the pre-1970 (i.e. 'Tridentine') Roman Rite.

An amateur choir, almost all of whom live locally, sings twice every Sunday, maintaining a wide choral repertoire from the Anglican tradition from 16th to 20th century. This normally includes a full setting of a Communion Service at the Sung Mass and a setting of the Evening Canticles with an anthem at Evensong.

The church is open daily for prayer.

The Mass is offered every day.

The Angelus and Morning and Evening Prayer are said daily at 8.30am and 5.30pm from Monday to Saturday.
