Parish Communion for young and old...all are welcome!
Join us for an informal service of Evening Worship with hymns, readings and prayers, held on Winterton Village Green. All welcome! If wet, service will move to the Church.
Every Saturday, from May 23rd until September 5th (excluding Music Festival concert days and Sat 13th June), live music with Simon at the piano - all welcome. Donations gratefully received for church funds.
2-4 pm: Climb the Church Tower (weather permitting). £3 adults, children 8yrs to under 15yrs free (must be accompanied by an adult). No children under 8yrs allowed up the Tower. Safe footwear must be worn - no flip flops or loose sandals.
Also 2-4 pm: Piano Recital by Simon Kenworthy, music director of our Summer Music Festival. Donation appreciated.
Traditional service of morning prayer
A weekly craft fair of independent sellers, held during August - come and browse the stalls! Refreshments (in aid of Church funds) available too.
Please come and support our Summer Tabletop Sales in the Church Room. These will be held from 9-12pm on: Saturdays 2nd May, 13th June, 4th July and 8th August. Good condition items for sale gratefully received, please bring to the Church room the day before (Friday) from 10 til 12. Or call Sandra on 07816 532685
We are holding our annual Gift Day to raise funds for the ongoing maintenance and ministry of Winterton Church. Church members will be collecting outside Poppies/the Post Office and we'd be grateful for your kind donations.
If you are doing The Norfolk Churches Trust Bike Ride, Walk & Drive we would love to see you! Members of our church will be on hand all day to welcome you, and there will be cold drinks available.
All are welcome to our Confirmation on Sunday 13th September at 6pm at Repps Church. If you're interested in exploring Confirmation, please contact a member of the Clergy as soon as possible.
Concluding our Summer Music Festival, we are hosting a Come and Sing Workshop day, featuring Faure's 'Requiem'. Led by Festival Director Simon Kenworthy. If you've not sung it before, an ability to read music will be helpful but is not essential for this relaxed workshop. Cost £10 per person, plus £2 to hire a score for the day (we are using the OUP version so please bring your own score if you have it, or register to hire one of ours). Join us at Repps Church for a special service of Prayer and Thanksgiving to celebrate the LLM Ministry in Flegg North Churches. To be followed by cake and fizz!
Have you got a favourite hymn? We have 2 Summer Songs of Praise evening services in Church this summer. If you’d like us to sing your favourite hymn at either of these then message Revd Debs on 07954338902 with your hymn choice and a short explanation of why. Or simply come along and enjoy the services...all welcome! Along with singing we'll be sharing a few words about the history of each hymn chosen.
