St Peter & St Paul Black Notley

Welcome to St Peter and St Paul's Black Notley!

You are so welcome at our services.

We are a friendly Anglo-Catholic church which means we like to worship God through singing, liturgy, and Church festivals. So we have a choir, we occasionally use incense, and we love celebrating the Eucharist every week (the meal of bread and wine that Jesus shared with his friends.) We regularly have children as part of our congregation, and love being an inter-generational church.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Black Notley is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Colin Miles
([email protected]) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (01245 29 44 44)
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
