Dating back to the 9th century, St Mary's has been at the centre of the life of the town for many years, providing a backdrop to significant events in the lives of individuals as well as the community. Today the worshipping community is active and varied with people of all ages coming together to praise God and learn more about the Christian faith. Services are held at 8am and 10am every Sunday. Messy Church is an important part of our worship and it meets four times a year.
