St Giles

Welcome to St Giles' Church, Great Hallingbury - a rural village on the Herts/Essex borders, just south of the market town of Bishop's Stortford.

We are part of a group of six village churches in the Deanery of Harlow, and the Church of England Diocese of Chelmsford.

We are proud to worship in a beautiful and historic church building, ​and we look forward to welcoming you to share in one of our regular services. We would love to get to know you!

Safeguarding

The parish of Great Hallingbury: St Giles is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, Caroline Harding.

The Diocese of Chelmsford website has safeguarding pages which contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO.
