St Giles Church Mountnessing
We are an informal, welcoming church mid-way between Mountnessing and Billericay offering services that are in normal English (Common Worship), on the traditional side yet unfussy and prayerful. The church building is Grade 1 listed, mainly on account of its medieval belfry- this ancient church is a gem. Services are at 9.30 am and last about an hour. Most people arrive 9.15-9.25 but you can slip in late. Health warning!: The heating is weak- dress up for outdoors and you won't be disappointed! No collection, no fuss but we have a card reader - donations appreciated. The church has a toilet.

Margaretting Church
Welcome to St Margarets, the village church of Margaretting. One of England's 'Thousand best churches' according to Simon Jenkins, this church is known for its 15th century Jesse window, its bell tower and its beauty in many other ways. It does have a worshipping community with services on major festival days. The location is unusual, the wrong side of a railway line - please park on the near side. The church has a toilet.
