From 23rd October 2023 Saint Clement's is in vacancy. Service times are on this site, and are on our website www.stclementschurch.org.uk. Times for other events can also be found there.
In between services and listed events the church is closed, as we do not, currently, have enough volunteers to keep the building open for longer hours.
Getting here
Please check the website first to make sure we are open www.stclementschurch.org.uk. During opening times you will find a very warm welcome at Saint Clement's church, Leigh-on-Sea, the parish church of Leigh Old Town and Leigh-on-Sea town centre. Whether you're planning a wedding, a baptism, wanting to know our service times, inquiring after faith or simply interested in the rich history of our church building, we are always happy to help. Please don't hesitate to contact us.
Nestled at the top of Leigh Hill, and adjacent to Leigh Library Gardens, Saint Clement's Church is hugely important both in terms of local history and the busy lives of our town and parishioners today.
Keep an eye out for Remembrance, Advent and Christmas Services at this beautiful church.
