Social Activities

All social activities are currently suspended - please refer to our website (saintmargaretsleigh.org) for the latest information on when activities will be restarting

St Margaret’s is not just about providing the religious needs of its parishioners and congregation – we have a role in developing the social life of the Parish. Details of all the following activities (and more) are on our website:

Drop-in Coffee Shop - every Tuesday from 9:15am to 11:15am during school term – this is for the Mums (or dads, grandparents, or whoever) on their way from dropping off their children at school. We meet in the lower Church Hall and you will be assured of a warm welcome and delicious coffee and home-made goodies.

Communitea - Communitea is a monthly tea party on the first Sunday of the month in the lower Church Hall between 4:30pm and 6:00pm. All are welcome – no charge. If you would like to join us, you don’t have to book – just turn up and we will be pleased to see you.

Edward Bear Club (Mothers & Toddlers) - The Edward Bear Club is a weekly club for the under 5s who can bring along a parent, grandparent or childminder. There are toys, activities and refreshments for children and the chance for grown-ups to meet and relax over coffee, biscuits and a chat. The Edward Bear Club meets each Wednesday of term time in the upstairs of the Church Hall between 9:15am and 11:15am.
