About Us

Thank you for visiting our section of A Church Near You.  If you would like to join us on a Sunday you would be very welcome.  We are a family church where children and babies are welcomed, as are older people and everyone in between!  Every Sunday morning we serve tea and coffee after the service which is a good opportunity for visitors and new members to get to know us and for to get to know you.

Our services are fairly informal, although follow an Anglican structure.  We don't mind if babies cry, or toddlers want to explore (but do ask parents to just keep an eye on them), and there are some soft toys to entertain them.  There are art activities for those slightly older children who find sitting still through a service hard, as well as books to read.

You are welcome even if you have never been to church before, or if you are of a different religion and want to come and see what a church is like!  If you have just moved to the area and are looking for a new church we welcome you to come and 'try us'.  We also welcome people of all abilities and disabilities (and recognise that not all disabilities are visible).  At Holy Communion we always use gluten free bread (or wafers during the pandemic).  We welcome breast-feeding mothers, but also have  room with a speaker in case you want some privacy, or a parent with a small child needs to take them out of the service for a while.

If you come to us and find that your needs are not catered for, please let us know and we will try our best to help.

There is also a very good pre-school that meets in our hall each day in term time for children aged 2-4 years.  Their contact details are:
