About Us

We are an eclectic group of people who rather surprisingly find ourselves companions on the journey of life.

In our physical journeying many of our paths have crossed in a part of the world called Loughton, in Essex, near London.  Some of us have never me in person, or only meet occasionally as we come together through our online services and community. In our spiritual journeying our paths have crossed in the Anglican parish of St John the Baptist with Trinity and St Nicholas.

In our journeying together we are encountering the reality of the presence and the truth of the love of the One who makes himself known as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We call ourselves Christians and recognise as brothers and sisters all who do the same throughout the world.

We are especially close to those who identify themselves as members of the world-wide Anglican Communion, the Church of England, the Diocese of Chelmsford and Churches Together in Loughton.

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to you from all of us here at St Johns.
