About Us
We are a diverse, friendly, inclusive congregation, a Church of England church and part of Chelmsford Diocese
We seek to love God and our neighbours in the spirit of the commandment given to us in the Gospel. All are welcome at St Barnabas.
Our Sunday Eucharist at 9:30am is our main service, which is relaxed but traditional in structure with a variety of music.
We have a dynamic Sunday school and our children actively participate in the main service.
On the first Sunday of the month all ages of the congregation stay together for a more relaxed and shorter service exploring a particular gospel theme.
Our focus on sharing Communion inspires us to bear witness to the world.
We are part of the Inclusive Church network;
