Church of England Diocese of Chelmsford Hadstock

Hadstock: St Botolph

Welcome to the church of St Botolph - a church which has stood in this village for 1000 years.

Services are very much dependent on rapidly-changing COVID restrictions at present. Currently, worship takes place in the church at 9.30 am on most Sundays and Morning Prayer on Tuesdays at 8.30 am. We regret that we are not currently open outside service times, but the church can be opened for private prayer and reflection by prior appointment. Please feel free to enjoy the peace and quiet of our beautiful churchyard, and may you find God's presence there.

Safeguarding Information

The parish of Hadstock is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Chelmsford's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer (DSA), who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
