The current incumbent, Reverend Canon Jonathan Lowe, is Priest-in-Charge of the Benefice of Steeple Bumpstead with Helions Bumpstead and the Benefice of Ridgewell St Lawrence with Ashen, Birdbrook and Sturmer.
The congregation at St Mary's Steeple Bumpstead extends a very warm welcome, especially to newcomers. We invite you to join us for a chat and some light refreshments after the service the details of which can be found under the Events tab.
We are open-minded and flexible, and we have a rota of people who help with the various parts of the service. The current electoral roll number is 58
