Getting here

A family-friendly, traditional Anglo-catholic parish church where all are welcome.   The Parish Priest is a member of the Society of the Holy Cross (SSC)    The Parish is registered under the Society of Ss Wilfrid and Hilda (known as The Society) and is under the pastoral care of The Right Reverend Norman Banks, ssc, Bishop of Richborough, a Bishop of the Society and Assistant Bishop of the diocese.  The principal Sunday service is the Solemn Mass at 11 am.  Evening Prayer and Benediction usually takes place at 5 pm. on 2nd Sunday of the month.                               There is normally a Mass on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday - please see the Weekly Bulletin on the parish website for times.

The parish priest celebrates the Eucharist at St Andrew's, Weeley on the first, third, fourth (and fith) Sundays at 9.30 am.                                     On Wednesdays at 10.30 am, he celebrates Mass at St James' Little Clacton, according to the Book of Common rite.

Regular pilgrimages to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham are undertaken.

The parish is in the process of pastoral reorganisation with the parishes of Little Clacton and Weeley. When this is completed, the Church Near You pages for those parishes will, hopefully, be brought up to date.
