About Us

St Thomas is a little gem of a church. An unexpected oasis in the Epping Forest area nestled just between Waltham Abbey and Epping Town.

The views from the churchyard across London on a sunny day are breath-taking. With a good set of binoculars you can see Wembley Stadium and many of London’s well-known landmarks.

There’s always social events and we have a full programme of events involving the whole community.

We are a Christian community that seeks to engage with everybody and we exclude no one, irrespective of colour, race or sexuality.

Family Communion every Sunday at 9.15am. All are warmly welcomed. 


We are committed to ensuring that St Thomas Church is a safe place for all.
