Come and join us for our morning worship today as we celebrate St Helena, the who became a Christian in 312 AD, and was mother of the Emperor Constantine, who was converted by her and who subsequently decriminalised Christianity in the Roman Empire and convoked the First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. Helena was born in Drepanum (later named Helenopolis) which has been identified as Hersek in north-western Turkey. She made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and was said by St Ambrose to have found the Cross on which Jesus was crucified. Helena died in Jerusalem in 330 AD. Constantine died in 337 AD.

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are currently in interregnum at St Michael's but are looking forward to our new full-time priest very, very soon.

We would like to thank Fr. Alex Summers and his family for their hard work and for bringing the community together in the 6 years they were with us.

Please pop in and join us at one of our services. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram @stmichaelstow.

God Bless
