Parish Mass for the Fourth Sunday of Advent and Christingle

Occurring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Michael & All Angels
Address
Northcote Road/Palmerston Road WALTHAMSTOW, LONDON., E17 6PQ, United Kingdom

Tomorrow 21 December is not only the Winter Solstice; it is the Fourth Sunday of Advent when we celebrate the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary in God's plan for the salvation of mankind. Without her willingness to accept the destiny planned for her, as the Theotokos (God-bearer), the history of the past 2000 years would have been very different. Come and join us as we anticipate the joyful birth of the Christ-child in a few days' time. We will also be celebrating Christingle at the end of our Parish Mass, with the Christingles which will be made by St Michael's Voyagers blessed and distributed after the post-Communion prayer. We end with a Christingle procession down to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham for the Angelus. Come and join us at 10.30 a.m. , and bring along your children and grandchildren to celebrate! There will be festive refreshments after Mass. All are welcome!
