Parish Mass for Passion Sunday

Occurring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Michael & All Angels
Address
Northcote Road/Palmerston Road WALTHAMSTOW, LONDON., E17 6PQ, United Kingdom

Come and join us at 10.30 a.m. tomorrow, 22 March, for our Parish Mass for Passion Sunday, the Fifth Sunday of Lent, when we commemorate Jesus' betrayal, suffering and death on the cross. Statues are veiled until the end of Holy Week, echoing the Gospel reading for Passion Sunday in the Book of Common Prayer, which tells us how Jesus, having declared 'Before Abraham was, I am' then hid himself from the Hebrews when they attempted to stone him for his perceived blasphemy (John 8:59). In this way the stage is set for the great events of Holy Week.

All are welcome either in person or on the livestream.

St Michael & All Angels

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are currently in interregnum at St Michael's but are looking forward to our new full-time priest very, very soon.

We would like to thank Fr. Alex Summers and his family for their hard work and for bringing the community together in the 6 years they were with us.

Please pop in and join us at one of our services. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram @stmichaelstow.

God Bless
