Today is the feast of the Birth of John the Baptist, the cousin and great forerunner of Jesus Christ. Come and join us at Morning Prayer and Holy Rosary at 10.00 a.m. when we celebrate his remarkable life and witness as he prepared the way of the Lord. As Jesus himself says (Matthew 11:11): “Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he."

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are no longer in interregnum at St Michael's and warmly welcome Canon Fred Ashford-Okai, our new priest in charge.  

We would like to thank all of those who have supported St Michaels during our interregnum helping us reach and grow our church community, and look forward to growing even more.
