Family Communion for the fourth Sunday of Advent: celebrant the Revd Tola Badejo.
The Junior Church Nativity Play will be a central part of this service.

Gospel: Matthew 1. 18 – 25

The familiarity of the Christmas story can lead us to forget how extraordinary it is, and above all, how much trust God placed in human goodness and courage. The annual re-enactment of the story by children can perhaps restore our sense of wonder - the Nativity Play centres on a child, and is performed by children, but it conveys the most adult of messages. In a similar way, the International Children's Bible, from which we have adapted the Gospel, simplifies the language but in no way dilutes the meaning.
