Please join us for this special Choral Eucharist for Ash Wednesday which will include the imposition of ashes.

Please note that this service replaces our usual 5.30pm Evensong.

Ash Wednesday is the English name for the first day of Lent, stemming from the tradition of making the sign of the Cross, in ash, as a sign of penitence. Penitence takes a central place in the liturgy as a response to Scripture and preaching. The use of ash – a feature of this day in the Western church since at least the tenth century – is a powerful symbol of sorrow for our sins, a reminder of our frailty and, ultimately, our mortality

Welcome to All Saints Kingston, the ancient Parish Church in the heart of Kingston Town Centre.  All are welcome to our regular services on Sunday (8am, 9.30am & 6pm), Tuesday Midday, Wednesday Midday and 5.30pm and Thursday Midday.

We also host many civic services, concerts, events and community groups, please see our calendar for details.

We are a bustling church open daily 10am-4pm with additional opening times dependent on events.  Our award winning cafe offers delicious and reasonably priced food and drink in the airy East end of the church.  Our fantastic life sized contemporary Saxon king embroideries are free to view as are our many other monuments and beautiful stained glass windows, please pick up a free guide by our welcome desk.
