If you are visiting the church during this dry and hot weather (and it is a lovely cool place to come and sit for a while!) please avoid parking on the approach road to the church from the B1077 crossroads. This road is very narrow and any parking along there restricts access for emergency vehicles - particularly fire engines - who might get called out to a grass fire at any time. There is some limited parking outside the churchyard entrance, or further along (between the church and the Ox and Plough public house). If there is no room there, please consider parking behind the village hall (in Abbey Road) and walking along the path that edges the green, back to the Ox and Plough and the church. Please do NOT park on the green itself, this is not permitted by the Parish Council because it damages the green.
