We have a large, well-maintained three-manual pipe organ which was rebuilt a little over ten years ago. There have been a number of recitals in recent years, the last of which was given by Nigel Ogden who accompanied a showing of the 1925 black and white film, "Phantom of the Opera".
Choral Evensong (usually on the First Sunday of the month) is the only regular service taken from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.
Our choir normally numbers around twelve to fifteen singers who meet regularly on Friday evenings for practice and sing at the weekly Communion Services as well as singing at the major Festivals and at a monthly Choral Evensong. We have just appointed a new Organist and Choir Director who will take up his post on 24th June 2019.
