Opening

Because the church is in regular use for recordings, concerts and other events, visitors are advised to check that they will be able to gain access. Organised groups are welcome to visit the church and with appropriate notice it is usually possible to arrange for a guide to welcome visitors and show them around.

Getting here

Saint Jude's is the parish church of the world-renowned model community of Hampstead Garden Suburb and a Christian community worshipping in the Anglican/Episcopal tradition.

Our style of liturgy and spirituality is catholic but Christians of all types of churchmanship have found a home here.

The church is in the West Barnet Deanery of the Edmonton Area of the Diocese of London, Church of England.

This magnificent Grade I Listed building is generally considered to be Lutyens' finest church. It is one of only two 20th Century churches to feature in Simon Jenkins' recent and highly acclaimed book, "England's Thousand Best Churches".

The church has a strong musical tradition and is the venue for The 'PROMS AT ST JUDE'S' annual music festival each June.

Please see our website for a full illustrated description of the Church and the Proms.
