Getting here
St John's is a friendly, welcoming and buzzing church for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our building is situated just off Great Horton Road in Bradford, only a mile up the hill from the University. We're next to Tesco's!
We usually have two services on a Sunday. In the morning is a service of Holy Communion at 9am and this is followed by a service of "Informal Worship" at 10.30am. The "Informal Worship" Service includes groups for children and young people up to 13 years of age and there are refreshments after both services.
There is a prayer meeting throughout the week at 9am, and we also meet for a mid week Holy Communion service on a Wednesday at 12noon. Many members of the church also meet in small groups throughout the week - please contact the vicar for further details of the small groups.
St John's is home to a thriving Under Fives group and Community Nursery which provides nursery care throughout the year, as well as a foodbank providing support to the needy of the parish.
