Dear Friends,
There’s plenty to join in with in church this weekend and beyond – please see below for all the notices.
This Sunday we really looking forward to marking Mothering Sunday at our Family Mass at 9.15 am – please join us and bring the family for a beautiful time of worship and celebration.
Masses at 8.00 am and 10.45 am will be of the Fourth Sunday of Lent, and we will hear another wonderful story from St John’s Gospel, this time the healing of the man born blind. We will be celebrating more traditional Mothering Sunday themes at these Masses, such as our place within Mother Church; so if you do not wish to mark the modern celebration of Mothering Sunday for whatever reason, the 8.00 am and 10.45 am Masses will be appropriate for you.
The liturgical day concludes with Evensong at 6.30 pm, and another exploration of an icon to help guide our prayer and reflection.
You will see posters for Holy Week up around the church, and below in this email – please make every effort to join us for this crucial time of the Church’s year. And please note our special family services, designed to bring the story alive for all ages.
With my prayers and best wishes,
Fr Alex
