Dear Friends,

As you read this, I am with the family in what I very much hope is a sunny Cornwall (having written this message in wishful anticipation before we left!) I hope that you are enjoying a peaceful and blessed Easter Week.

I would like to thank everyone for their great efforts in Holy Week – all who helped to prepare and offer our liturgies, and all who were able to attend in person or in spirit. Please pray for those who have visited us, and especially for those who are new to faith or returning, that they may be strengthened and encouraged by their worship with us, and will want to return.

I am very grateful to Fr David Hope for celebrating our Masses this Sunday, at 8.00 am and 10.45 am. Please note that there is no Family Service or Choral Evensong this Sunday, as our musicians take a well-earned break. Families are of course more than welcome to join in at 10.45 am.

Normal services resume next Sunday, the 19th, and the (slightly shortened) High Mass will be followed by our Annual Meeting – please do attend that if you can. There is a notice below with a link to read the annual report. We also have vacancies on our church council, and the deanery synod – please speak to our wardens if you are interested and would like to know more.
