Dear Friends,

You would be most welcome to any of our services this weekend, all at the usual times – including our Family Mass at 9.15 am. This evening (Friday) our junior singers are giving their annual summer concert at 6.00 pm in the hall, if you’re able to come and support them.

Please note details of Fr Godfrey’s Requiem this Thursday at 1.00 pm.

There are some changes to service times over the next few weeks for a number of reasons, so I thought I’d list them here for ease. Please note the arrangements for St Margaret’s Day on 19 July, on which we will dedicate our new icon of St Margaret, with Fr David Hope preaching. In the afternoon there will be a talk by the artist, to which all are welcome.

10.45 am Low Mass
4.00 pm High Mass (Fr Marc’s first Mass)

Sunday 5 July
8.00 am BCP Holy Communion
9.00 am Breakfast Praise
10.45 am High Mass
6.30 pm Choral Evensong

Sunday 12 July
8.00 am Low Mass
6.30 pm High Mass (the Ilkley Half Marathon road closures prevent us from holding services at 9.15 am and 10.45 am)

Sunday 19 July – St Margaret’s Day
8.00 am Low Mass
9.15 am Family Mass
10.45 am High Mass with blessing of the new icon (Fr David Hope preaching)
5.00 pm An illustrated talk by icon artist Peter Murphy, followed by drinks
6.30 pm Solemn Evensong

Thereafter our morning pattern is as normal (though there is no Evensong in August).
