Dear Friends,

I hope you will be able to join us for our St Margaret’s Day celebrations, this Sunday. There is plenty going on, and as you will have seen from notices over the last few weeks, we are very excited to unveil our new icon of ‘St Margaret of the Moor.’ The icon will be blessed at the High Mass at 10.45 am by Fr David Hope, who will also preach for us.

At 5.00 pm the artist will give us an illustrated talk on icons, including the process of creating our St Margaret icon, followed by drinks and an opportunity for conversation. The day concludes with Solemn Evensong at 6.30 pm.

All are welcome to share in this significant day for our church community. The icon is a gift from a legacy from the late Peter and Audrey Waterhouse, and we’re glad to welcome members of their family to the High Mass.

We also have our two earlier Masses, at 8.00 am (for Trinity VII) and our Family Mass celebrating St Margaret at 9.15 am.
