There is plenty going on in the life of our church, and we're always pleased to welcome visitors and new members of the congregation who might like to get involved. Here are a few things we do together:
Lunch Club meets once a month, usually on the third Thursday of the month, to provide time for a relaxed couple of hours among friends, old and new. A team of volunteers prepares a two-course lunch for a modest charge of £7 per head. You can also purchase a glass of wine or soft drink to go with your meal. Please see the news sheets for details of the next lunch, and how to sign up.
Social time follows the Thursday 11.00 am Low Mass every week, with free tea, coffee and biscuits.
Church lunches are often held after major services, such as our Patronal Festival and Harvest Thanksgiving, catered by members of the congregation.
Refreshments are offered after the Sunday 10.45 am High Mass each week, and we also provide wine and soft drinks after special services on principal feasts.
Choral Evensong on Sundays at 6.30 pm is usually followed by a trip to the pub.
In addition, our parish hall hosts a wide variety of groups and clubs throughout the week - see the Facilities for hire page for more details.
