St John's in the heart of the community is a busy church through the week as well as Sundays. You are welcome to drop in and see what we do, grab a cuppa in our cafe or worship God on a Sunday. There's always a place for you, just come as you are. Worship, word, food and family. You're so welcome here!
Our parish of Thorpe Edge: St John the Divine is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Janette Watmough on 07912 436132 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor on 0113 3530257. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police on 999 and your local authority’s children or adult social care services on 01274 433999.
