About Us

St James the Great serves the western end of Pudsey - Woodhall, Waterloo and bits without a name! The church goes back over a century but the present buildng was consecrated on 6th June 1959.

The Parish Hall and Meeting Room are used by a wide variety of organisations:

Scouts, Cubs and Beavers

Brownies and Rainbows

A  Toddler group

A slimming club

A Friendship group

A local history class

A senior exercise class

Muslims for Friday Prayers

Yoga Classes

and are available for hire by all members of the community.

The liturgy and spirituality of St James the Great is in the liberal catholic tradition.
