St. James

Welcome to St James!

We’re so glad you’ve found us. St James is a warm and inclusive church in Woodhall, on the outskirts of Pudsey. We’re a down-to-earth community that loves welcoming new people and serving our local area.

Our Sunday services centre on hearing God’s Word and sharing in Holy Communion. Whether you’re exploring faith, looking for a church home, or simply curious, you’re always welcome to join us.

If you have any questions or would like to know more, please do get in touch,  we’d love to hear from you.

Our Benefice

Safeguarding

Our parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese, the Diocese of Leeds has an up to date web page with links and information related to safeguarding, including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Penny Parker - [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, [email protected].
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
