Activities included cleaning at height without risk to life or limb, thanks to an ingeniously constructed bamboo rod extension to the cobweb catcher (credit to Bob). Guttering was cleared. Window frames were scraped down, resin filler applied, followed by fresh coats of paint. Headstones in the churchyard were checked; those requiring support were safely staked.  After their hard work the volunteers enjoyed some coffee and freshly baked cookies, thanks to Chris. All ready now for the quinquennial inspection next week (well almost!)
