Whether you are already very familiar with church or just curious about Christianity for the very first time—we promise you a truly warm welcome here in Birmingham!

Who We Are

St Germain’s is an Anglican Church (part of the Church of England), located in the vibrant and diverse city of Birmingham.

We are a church family dedicated to following Jesus. We try our best to live out His values—full of love, grace, and hope—in our local community. We believe God's Holy Spirit is working with us to achieve this. We are always learning and growing together in our faith journey!

What You Will Find

At St Germain’s, you will find a truly mixed and friendly church family that is:

• Diverse and Varied: We are made up of people of all ages, from many different countries and backgrounds. We have single people, families, those who have been Christians for years, and those who are just starting to explore their faith. Everyone is welcome!

• Rooted in Edgbaston: We are strongly connected to our local Edgbaston community, but we also love welcoming people who travel from other areas of Birmingham and beyond.

• A Place of Grace: We are a community built on grace and forgiveness, where everyone is treated with kindness.

• Very Hospitable: Most events at St Germain’s involve sharing food and having a chat! Come hungry!

• Worshipping Together: Our services are designed to reflect the different cultures and ages within our congregation.

• Focused on the Bible: The Bible is read, clearly explained, and applied to our daily lives in every service, helping us understand and live out our Christian faith.

• Prayerfully Active: We trust the Holy Spirit to be active among us every day, helping us to be dedicated followers of Jesus in all parts of our lives.
