Our 10.00 is a vibrant and lively gathering for everyone. We normally begin with worship and some all age input. This is followed by time of teaching as well as a chance to respond to what has been said through prayer.

Our 18.00 gathering includes a time of worship, followed by a talk and time for response. Everyone is welcome! We find that this service particularly attracts 20s & 30s and students.

Toddler Group is our midweek gathering for babies, pre-school aged children (0-4 years) and their parents/guardians. The group is a great place to meet and make friends, as well as providing an enormous range of activities including play, craft, music, and refreshments.

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step recovery program helping anyone with a hurt, habit or hangup.

Meeting every Monday evening throughout the year, The evening consists of a large group meeting for some teaching and then smaller gender specific groups for sharing and encouragement. There is no need to book – we welcome anyone just to turn up.

Doors open at 7:45pm for refreshments and the meeting starts at 8pm. This group is only for those aged 16 and above.

St John's Parent and Baby group is for children aged 0-12 months and their parents and carers. The group offers a great chance to meet other new parents in the area. We will also have some parenting advice from Barnardos children's charity ranging from tips for weaning your baby, dealing with teething and care for their teeth and reading with your baby, as well as access to help for postnatal depression.

Each week during term time we host a group for women – international students/academics or their wives. CAMEO (Come And Meet Each Other) is a place to make close friends, practise English and encourage one another through the joys and challenges of life in a different culture.

We welcome all international women from whatever country or religious background and with any level of English, even basic. Babies and pre-school children join us with their mothers.

This is a quieter weekly service for those who prefer a more reflective setting to worship in. This gathering lasts no longer than an hour and is particularly suitable for older people.

Everyone is welcome.

St John's Community Café will be buzzing with activity as the Repair Café, Sewing Repair Café, and the Life Admin Team join us for a practical and helpful day. Bring along your broken or damaged items for repair or mending—our skilled volunteers are here to help. The Repair Café will take care of general fixes, while the Sewing Repair Café focuses on clothing and fabric. The Life Admin Team will be available to support you with those nagging administrative tasks you’ve been meaning to get to. Come get things sorted, connect with others in the community, and enjoy a hot cup of coffee in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Calling anyone aged 18-30! You're invited to join the hang outs that begin on 28 Sep after the 6pm evening gathering. It's a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, eat good food and build a young adults community. There's no need to sign up, just join us on the day. Are you hungry to see God’s kingdom come? As a whole church community, we want to revitalise our prayer life, with confidence that the Holy Spirit will meet with us in a powerful way as we bring the needs of the world and our church to God. We encourage you to come as individuals or small groups to celebrate together God’s ongoing work in our world.
Powerhouse is held monthly on first Wednesdays except in holiday periods.

We will be inviting the families of those whose funerals we have taken over the past five years, and during the service the names of those who have died will be read out from the Book of Remembrance. We extend an invitation to all church members and friends who would like to honour the memory of loved ones, and space will be given during the service to silently remember them. The service will last for about 45 mins. and will be followed by tea, coffee and cake. We’ve found that this annual service is much appreciated by those who have been bereaved. It has proved a helpful way to remember loved ones and reflect on the love we shared with them during their lives. If you would like to join us, we look forward to seeing you then.

321 invites you to see life the way Jesus does. Over the course of four sessions, we’ll take a look at Jesus' vision for life through interactive videos that help us better understand God, the world and ourselves.

The course considers God's Three-ness, the world's two-ness and your one-ness. Each session begins with a thoughtful question followed by stunning storytelling and compelling commentary.
