Accessibility

We are a member of the Inclusive Church network.

You are welcome to park your car at the St John's Church Centre (1 minute walk from Church).

The Church has a level entrance through the main entrance doors, and the nave is on the same level. There are steps up to the chancel: a portable ramp can be provided as needed. The Church Centre has ramped access and level floors throughout.

Dogs are welcome in Church and at the Church Centre (except for kitchen area).

We have an accessible, all-genders' toilet in the St John's Church Centre (1 minute from Church, with ramped access).

Dementia aware / accessible

There is a hearing loop in the church

Large print 'pewsheets' and hymn books are provided.
We will produce large print versions of our service booklets when these are renewed in early 2025.

Our Building

Grade II listed building.

Our Place of Welcome offers a warm space, with free refreshments, computer access, craft activities and company available. Fridays from 10.30 - 12.30.

Groups, Courses and Activities

Our St John's Youth Club runs Thursdays 5:30 - 7:00 pm. For children aged 6 to 16 years. Free of charge. Drinks and snacks available. Held in the St John's Church Centre.

Our Jesse Tree Stay & Play runs Thursdays 9:30 - 11:30 am. Aimed at children aged 0 to 5 years. From £1.80 for one child. Drinks and snacks available. Held in the St John's Church Centre.

Our Children and Families Missioner supports children and young people in the parish.
The Jesse Tree Stay-and-Play Group meets on Thursday mornings and the St John's Youth Club meets on Thursday afternoons (both in the Church Centre).


Help for Visitors

Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on leads.


Other Features

Our Church Centre is available for hire for local community groups and businesses, as well as for wakes, baptism parties, and children's parties. Please contact Revd. Danny for booking information.
