Parish Litter Pick

Church_news Community_news

On Thursday 12 June, the Eco Group held another parish litter pick. Fran, Ian and James spent an hour litter picking along Thimblemill Road – from the old swimming baths to Thimblemill Library – and managed to fill three bin liners between them!

This is part of our long-term plan to work our way along the entire parish boundary. It might take us a few years, but every step makes a difference – and everyone is welcome to get involved.

Litter picking doesn’t just benefit the environment – it’s a great way to improve our shared spaces, connect with neighbours, and enjoy some fresh air and gentle exercise. Many also find it helps clear the mind and lifts the spirits.

Our next outing is likely to be in October – date to be confirmed - and we'll pick up where we left off at Thimblemill Library. If you fancy joining us, we’d love to have you along! Look out more further info in the pew sheet closer to the time.
