All are welcome on Tuesdays in the choir vestry (please use back door). Using Morning Prayer from Common Worship, either in the book or app, we also have an open time to reflect on and discuss the readings of the day and for extemporary prayer.

The church is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9:30 and 5pm for private prayer.

A quiet said Holy Communion service using Common Worship. A communion service takes place at least three Wednesdays a month, a traditional service of morning prayer may be said instead.

During spring, summer and autumn, volunteers are invited to help to tidy the church front gardens on the first Saturday of each month (weather permitting), between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon. Experienced and inexperienced gardeners alike are welcome to come to any or part of these sessions. Some people bring their own gardening tools and some use tools from a supply available at the church. If you have any queries, get in touch!

A wonderful opportunity to worship with our Oversight group.

If you’re able to come and help with a spring clean for an hour or two please do come along. Cleaning materials and refreshments will be provided. See Julie Batham for more information.

An informal service for all ages.

Open to anyone in school years 7-11, we meet monthly for food, creativity, conversation and games. We meet in the hall for activities, games and to explore faith together.

New young people are always welcome - get in touch to find out more.

An all age Holy Communion Service followed by cake and coffee, hosted by St Hilda’s. All welcome as we are led and worship with the other churches from our Oversight group; St Mary’s, Old Church and St Matthew with St Chad. If anyone would like to bake and bring cake to this please do!

An opportunity to learn together what it means to follow Jesus, pondering together the big questions. Anyone who wants to deepen their faith is welcome; all of us with our hopes, questions and doubts. Those preparing for baptism or confirmation are encouraged to come. We’ll watch a short video together, read a passage or two from the scripture and have conversations. Tea, coffee and pastries will be provided and we’ll meet in the choir vestry (the downstairs chapel – the back door will be open). We’ll meet on Saturday 17th February, 16th March, 20th April, 15th June and 20th July from 10:30am 12pm. Come to one, a few, or all of them.
