We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has generously contributed knitted items for seafarers over the past year. Your kindness and dedication are greatly appreciated and make a real difference to those working far from home.
Seafarers continue to need our support more than ever, particularly those serving in challenging and often uncertain conditions on the world's seas, including the Strait of Hormuz. In response to ongoing need, The Mission to Seafarers has once again requested knitted hats this year, which are especially welcome.
We will be collecting knitted items over the coming weeks before sending them on to seafarers through The Mission to Seafarers. If you enjoy knitting and would like to contribute, we would be delighted to receive your donations.
We also invite everyone to join us for Sea Sunday on 12 July as we honour the courageous men and women who keep global trade and travel moving. Together, we will pray for seafarers, give thanks for their service, and raise vital funds to support those facing difficult, demanding, and often lonely conditions at sea.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support.
