Congratulations to Mother Diane who was ordained priest in Birmingham Cathedral on Saturday 20 June. We were delighted to have her celebrate the Eucharist for the first time at St Hilda's on Sunday. We also welcomed Mother Charlotte as our guest preacher. Charlotte is the Anglo-Catholic Missioner for the diocese of Birmingham and an Assistant Diocesan Director of Ordinands.
Diane said: “I am deeply relieved to have reached this moment and profoundly blessed by this congregation. It is a great privilege to be here at St Hilda’s this morning, presiding over the Eucharist and sharing in this sacred celebration with you all.”
