The Big Butterfly Count

The Big Butterfly Count is a nationwide citizen science survey designed to help assess the health of our environment. Launched in 2010, it has quickly become the world’s largest butterfly survey.

After the service, all are warmly invited to spend 15 minutes helping to count butterflies in the church gardens. Alternatively, you’re very welcome to take part at home at your convenience — the event runs from 18th July to 10th August.

Dying Matters

In partnership with our Oversight Churches we are hosting an afternoon to enable our local communities to think about death and dying. It will include opportunities to ask questions and get resources for planning ahead for ourselves and for those we care for. The day will help with both practical and emotionally support. Animal service with pet blessing

Our annual opportunity to consider our call to care for animals, as part of Creationtide. Pets are welcome, and will have the opportunity to receive an individual blessing. There will also be an opportunity to remember pets who have died.
