Easter Sunday - sunrise service

Come and celebrate the joy of the resurrection at our Easter Sunrise Service! We will gather outside at dawn to light the Paschal Candle, symbolising Christ, the Light of the World, and then process it into the church as we welcome the hope of Easter morning. All are welcome.

Music Hub - Viola and Piano

This free concert is offered in partnership with the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Light refreshments are available after each concert, and there is usually an opportunity to talk with the performer(s). The concerts are free, but donations for church funds are welcome.

Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM)

The APCM is an annual meeting where our community gathers to hear updates across various areas of ministry, learn the latest news, and reflect on how we are progressing as a church, an organisation, and a charity. We'll also discuss plans for the year ahead and beyond.

During the meeting, votes will be held for various official church positions, where vacancies exist. Only members of the electoral roll can vote or be elected.

Ascension Day Holy Communion Service and farewell to our Area Dean Mike Sermon

Join us for a special Deanery Ascension Day Holy Communion Service as we come together in worship and celebration.

The service will also mark the retirement of Mike Sermon as Area Dean of Warley and Edgbaston. We are hugely grateful for his service not just in this role but in the diocese over many years.

Please let Jenni know if you intend to come/stay for refreshments, to help St Mary cater accordingly.

Ordination of Priests

Our curate Mother Diane Reeves will be ordained Priest at this service. This is a ticketed event, more details will be available when we have them.

Everyone is invited to a bring and share lunch to celebrate with Diane in our church hall afterwards from 1:00pm. If you are able to help with some of practicalities of this celebration please let Jenni know.
